We had a little change from books for our comprehension skills this week. We watched the John Lewis Christmas advert.

We worked on our prediction, reflecting, inference and understanding skills. We then chatted about the slogan “show them how much you care” and gave examples of evidence that supports this…

After watching and discussing the advert the P1s drew Edgar and thought of describing words or sentences while the p2s chose a scene and added dialogue. I was super impressed with the work!
